The brakes are locked (the
Locked
indicator on the
Table display is
green
).
•
The patient is fully prepared for the adjustment.
•
The Table is in the correct position for you to install
a second support top:
–
The columns are at the same height.
–
The Table and the installed support top are level. See “Level
the Table and the Support Top” on page 41.
–
The Table is free of objects that could interfere with the
adjustment.
–
The lateral top is flat and the air bladder is deflated.
–
All loose or unsupported objects have been secured.
•
The Rail Top has the Prone Supports installed. If it does not, install
them (see page 32).
•
The air pump is not connected to the air manifold at the head
end of the lateral top.
•
The lateral top electrical connector is not connected to the
auxiliary power port.
2.
Install the prone support bracket.
a.
Make sure that the hook feature of the side support bracket is
over the pin on the main support bracket then turn the main
support bracket until the cross-pin hole in the side support
bracket aligns with the cross-pin hole in the main support
bracket.
WARNING:
Do not use the Lateral-to-Prone assembly without the cross pin installed
correctly. To do so could cause patient fall, injury, or equipment damage.
b.
Insert the cross pin into the prone support bracket, through the
lateral support bracket, and through the other end of the prone
support bracket. Make sure that the drop-lock end of the cross
pin is down.
c.
Make sure the drop lock on the end of
the cross pin moves to the side to hold
the H-bracket in position.
d.
Repeat Step a through Step c at the
other end of the table.
3.
Install the rail top with the prone support set
as follows:
