10.9  Configuring HDD Error Alarms

Purpose:

You can configure the HDD error alarms when the HDD status is

Uninitialised

 or

Abnormal

.

Steps:

Enter the Exception interface.

Menu > Setup > Exceptions

Select the Exception Type

HDD Error

 from the dropdown list.

Click the checkbox(s) below to select the HDD error alarm type (s), as shown below.

Note:

The alarm type can be selected from: Audio Warning, Notify Surveillance

Center, Send Email and Trigger Alarm Output.

Please refer to

When the Trigger Alarm Output is selected, you can also select the alarm output to be
triggered from the list below.

Click the

Apply

 button to save the settings.
