Minimum specifications
The hardware server you choose must support Red Hat Enterprise Server release 4.0 and
must adhere to the following minimum specifications as appropriate to the number of users
and ports purchased.
Important!
Dell servers that use the PERC 6/i controller card require a firmware
update during the ACS/My Teamwork installation process.
Small and Medium Business
Use a small to medium business server for Alcatel-Lucent OmniTouch My Teamwork
deployments that require up to 120 concurrent audio and data conferencing ports and
3,000 IM users.
Processor Single processor, dual core, 2.8 GHz or faster
Memory 1 GB (up to ACS 7.0)
2 GB (ACS 7.1 or greater)
Hard drive (2) 70 GB or greater
RAID RAID 1
Media drive DVDR
Network Interface (2) 100 Base-T, minimum
Enterprise and Service Provider
Use an enterprise server for Alcatel-Lucent OmniTouch My Teamwork deployments that
require support of full capacity of ACS users and audio and data conferencing ports.
Processor Dual processor, dual core, 3.0 GHz or faster
Memory 2 GB
Hard drive (2) 250 GB or greater
RAID Controller RAID 1
Media drive DVDR
Network Interface (2) 100 Base-T, minimum
Note:
In the next release (ACS 8.0) scheduled for Spring 2009, ACS will support
Red Hat Enterprise Server Release 5.0, update 2, and software RAID systems will no
longer be supported.
