Use another LDAP server:
The steps described in the section titled "How to configure
Directories Integration with Active Directory" typically apply for all
LDAP servers. However, since the default mapping is designed for an
Active Directory, ensure the mapping is adequate for your LDAP
Directory.
Here is an example of an LDAP configuration using Domino server:
Advanced Directories Integration concepts
Custom Attributes
The Custom Attributes section allows you to create additional
Attributes that you can map as you see fit. These Attributes are used
to create personalized advanced rules. Custom Attributes are only
used in Site Lookup Table, Profile Lookup Table and in Directories
Integration Conditions. Refer to the "Site Lookup Table" and "Profile
Lookup Table" sections below for more information.
Add Custom Attributes
1 Click the Add button and then enter the Attribute Name
2 For the Name in Directory field, either select a name from the drop
down list or, for an LDAP Directory, type in the Name in Directory to
map to.
3 Click the Remove button if you wish to remove a Custom Attribute.
Conditions
Conditions let you create prerequisites for the execution of rules.
The administrator imposes Conditions on an Attribute and the system
validates it sequentially prior to executing the query. The Attribute
query will be executed if all the Conditions of a rule are true;
otherwise the query will be skipped. If there are no Conditions, the
rule is always applied. Conditions are linked with the logical operator
AND.
Ordering
Table entries are ordered and once the system finds a match, it stops
searching (stop on first match). Ordering applies to rules, which are
linked with the logical operator OR.
Relation between rules (chaining)
A rule can provide an Output Attribute, which will become an Input
Attribute or Condition for a subsequent rule.
Modification table
Number modification automatically alters the fax numbers entered
by users.
