Modifying notification and banner templates
Mail Notifications and banner templates allow you to specify the
number of digits for a given variable. By entering a comma and a
number after the variable, in the format:
@@
variable,number_of_digits
you indicate the maximum number of digits the variable can occupy.
•
If the value of the variable is longer, it is truncated to
number_of_digits
.
•
If the value is smaller, it is padded at the right with enough spaces to
equal
number_of_digits
.
•
If the variable does not exist, but
number_of_digits
is specified,
an equivalent number of spaces will be appended in the resulting
string.
Note:
The comma and
number_of_digits
part of the variable format
is optional. If it is not specified, the exact value of the variable
is used.
This is an example of the default content of the inbound success
banner template.
HTML Mail notification body
The same variables and format described above are used in the HTML
notification body. However, you should be aware of the variable used
to place the JPG image in the HTML file.
This variable:
$$AttachmentPlaceHolder
is specified with the HTML
IMG
tag and the
SRC
attribute. It retrieves the first page of the fax
