Safety Advice
When using
Aurora
Presto
, always take basic safety
precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and
injury to persons. These include the following:
•
When connecting to the line, especially when
using crocodile clips, special care must be taken
as high voltages may be present on the line and
there may be a danger of electrocution. Extra
care should be taken especially when using
Aurora
Presto
in TDR/DMM mode.
•
Avoid using the tester during an electrical
storm—there is a remote risk of electric shock by
lightning.
•
Use only the batteries supplied for the unit.
These are described in
and in the
power source specifications in
section 1.
•
Do not dispose of batteries in a fire—they may
explode.
•
Disconnect all interface cables before removing
the battery cover.
•
Never remove the rear of the case while
Aurora
Presto
is switched on or connected to the
network.
•
Use only the charger/adaptor supplied with your
Aurora
Presto
.
