Purge the pump. For more information see “Priming and Purging the
System” on page 63.

Allow the detector to warm up at least 60 minutes to provide a stable
baseline (see example in
Figure 17 on page 70 and Table 11 on page 70).

N O T E
For reproducible chromatography, the detector and lamp should be on for at least one hour.
Otherwise the detector baseline may still drift (depending on the environment). See also
section
