Model APZU-303
20 TTL Signals (3.3 volt)
The I/O signals of the APZU-303 include 20 TTL, three RS485 signal pairs.
All I/O signals originate from bank 26 of the Zynq chip. Back 26 is powered
by 3.3 volts. The signals from Bank 26 are High Density (HD) I/O Resources.
HD I/O is designed to support speeds up to 250Mbps interfaces. Bank 26 I/O
signals will support LVTTL and LVCMOS. These signals can be used as input,
output, or bidirectional.
Model APZU-303
Three RS485 Ports
The three RS485 signals originate from an ADM3062E transceivers. The
transceivers are driven by Zynq PL pins originating from bank 65 of the Zynq
chip. Back 65 is powered by 1.8 volts. The signals from Bank 65 are High-
performance (HP) I/O Resources.
The RS485 ports are rated for long cable, low speed 500 kbp data transfer
rates.
LPDDR Memory
The Zynq module provides 2 Giga Byte (512Mbit x 32) of LPDDR4 Memory.
The memory interfaces to the Zynq chip as a 32-bit wide memory bus.
Quad-SPI Flash
The APZU+ provides a 512 Mbit (64 Mbyte) Nor Flash device
(MT25QL512ABBIEW9). Single slave select 4-bit I/O interface to Zynq chip
Quad-SPI Controller as alternative boot source. Memory space may
alternatively be used as application data storage.
The Quad-SPI Flash memory signals are routed to the MIO device pins (0 to
5) to the Zynq PS.
SD Card Interface
The APZU+ provides an SD Card interface from the Zynq PS MIO device pins
(13 to 16, 21 and 22).
The APZU+ will ship with a Delkin Devices 16 GB industrial MLC microSD
card. The card is preprogrammed with Linus boot.
The Delkin Part Number is S316APG49-U3000-3 provided, is rated at
Read Performance = 95MB/s and Write Performance = 55MB/s.
Ethernet Interface
Marvell
88E1512
Zynq PS on the Zynq module is equipped with a gigabit Ethernet controller.
The Zynq module provides the external PHY device (Marvell 88E1512-A0-
nnp2I000). The Zynq controller uses a media independent interface RGMII
(Reduced pin count GMII for direct connection) to Copper. The magnetics
and RJ-45 connector needed to complete the ethernet interface are resident
on the APZU Cable Breakout panel (Acromag part number 5028-626).
The ethernet PHY pins RGMII are routed from Zynq PS MIO pins MIO64 to
MIO77.
