NOTE:

the menu with the parameters of Rc protection is activated if Rc type Rating Plug and

Ekip Measuring Pro modules are present and correctly installed.

Function

Rc protection protects against the residual current earth faults by detecting the fault current with the
appropriate external Rc toroid.

When the activation threshold is exceeded, the protection trips within a fixed time. The user can set the
threshold and the tripping time of the protection.

Availability

G protection is an alternative to Rc protection on Ekip Touch, Ekip Hi-Touch and Ekip G Touch trip units
(enabling the presence of Rc external toroid to display Rc protection), while both protections are available on
Ekip G Hi-Touch trip units.

Parameters

Here is a list of the available parameters:
