Local Setting Example
The following is an example of using the setType=”local” setting for a specific
configuration item (softkey1 label).

<ConfigurationItem>
<Parameter>softkey1 label</Parameter>
<Value>Test</Value>
</ConfigurationItem>
</AastraIPPhoneConfigutation>
RESULT : The value of " softkey1 label " is set to " Test ". This value persists
through reboots of the phone.
Override Setting Example
The following is an example of using the setType=”override” setting for a
specific configuration item (softkey1 label)

<ConfigurationItem>
<Parameter>softkey1 label</Parameter>
<Value>Test</Value>
</ConfigurationItem>
</AastraIPPhoneConfigutation>
RESULT : The value of " softkey1 label " is set to " Test ". When the phone reboots,
the value for the "softkey1 label" reverts back to the server configured value, or its
default value on the server.
