IP Phone Administrator Guide
Incoming/Outgoing Intercom Calls
The Incoming/Outgoing Intercom Call settings on the IP Phone
specify
whether the IP phone or the server is responsible for notifying the recipient that an
Intercom call is being placed. These settings also specify the prefix code for
server-side Intercom calls, and specifies the configuration to use when making the
Intercom call
.

Incoming Intercom Settings (all models)
Auto-Answer
Note:
This option can
be set by both Users
and Administrators.
sip allow auto answer
Enables or disables the IP phone to allow automatic
answering for an Intercom call. If auto-answer is
enabled on the IP phone, the phone plays a tone to
alert the user before answering the intercom call. If
auto-answer is disabled, the phone rejects the
incoming intercom call and sends a busy signal to the
caller.

Microphone Mute
Note:
This option can
be set by both Users
and Administrators.
sip intercom mute mic
Enables or disables the microphone on the IP phone
for Intercom calls made by the originating caller.

Play Warning Tone
Note:
This option can
be set by both Users
and Administrators.
sip intercom warning
tone
Enables or disables a warning tone to play when the
phone receives an incoming intercom call on an active
line.

Allow Barge In
Note:

sip intercom allow barge
in
Enable or disables how the phone handles incoming
