VALIDITY PERIOD OF THE WARRANTY
For all Azzurro ZCS inverters, the manufacturer provides a commercial warranty which is in place in
addition to the legal reseller warranty. The EU legal guarantee has a two-year validity starting from
the date of purchase and is associated to all Azzurro ZCS inverters. In addition to the legal guarantee,
the manufacturer provides a free of charge, commercial warranty on all its inverters starting from the
date of purchase with a coverage of 120-months (10 years) or 60-months (5 years) depending on the
country of installation and/or the commercial agreements in place. Some product families bear a non-
negotiable commercial warranty and it is defined by the manufacturer as listed below:
-
Azzurro Single-Phase Plus Series Double MPPT 1100TL – 3000TL: 120 months (10 years)
commercial warranty.
-
Azzurro Single-Phase Plus Series Double MPPT 3000TLM – 6000TLM: 120 months (10 years)
commercial warranty.
-
Azzurro Three-Phase Compact Series Double MPPT 3.3KTL – 12KTL: 120 months (10 years)
commercial warranty.
-
Monitoring products, Dataloggers, Wi-Fi/Ethernet kits and accessories: 24 months (2 years)
commercial warranty.

conventional warranty is 24 months (2 years)
In order to benefit from the extended commercial warranty, you will have to register your product,
through the specific form on ZCS website
, within three months from the
purchasing date and providing a copy the your purchasing documents. In case the registration is not
made within the prescribed terms, the EU legal guarantee terms will apply.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
In case of a defective Azzurro ZCS inverter during the agreed warranty period, you are requested to
please report defective inverters to activate the repair/swap service procedure filling-out the online
form on the web site
www.zcsazzurro.com
.
You may also contact your dealer (ZCS Europe authorized dealer or distributor) or installer if your unit
is defective or faulty.
To make a claim under the warranty period, you will need to provide us the following information and
documentation of the faulty inverter:
✧
Product Model (e.g. SOFAR 20000TL) and product serial number (e.g. SC1ES520E99001/ZC1ES...).
✧
Copy of the valid purchasing invoice
✧
Error messages on the LCD screen (if available) and additional information about the fault/error.
✧
Detailed information about the entire system (module, PV system diagram, etc.).
✧
Documentation of previous claims/exchanges (if applicable).
In case an inverter is faulty during the warranty period, it will be:
✓
Repaired by ZCS, or
✓
Repaired on-site, or
✓
Replaced with a refurbished inverter that includes all firmware updates
If the inverter needs to be exchanged, the remainder of the warranty period will be transferred to the
replacement unit, i.e. the warranty period of the original device will continue. If the remaining
warranty period is less than one year, you will automatically receive a full year warranty period for
the replacement unit.
The warranty includes the cost of work and material necessary to regain faultless functioning
inverters. Should the defective unit needs to be replaced with a refurbished one, transportation costs
for both the defective and replacement unit are sustained by ZCS only if the damaged inverter is
available for pick-up at the same time and place agreed for the delivery of the replacement unit, in
their original (or equivalent) packaging. In case the damaged unit is not available for pick-up as
detailed above, the refurbished product shall not delivered for free and all the relevant costs, included
those connected to the second delivery, will be quoted separately.
