Towing of vehicle
General description
If the vehicle cannot continue running due to the following fault and
needs towing, it is suggested to entrust the authorized service station
or the professional rescue company for solution. Only when no
authorized service station or professional rescue company can be
found, the vehicle can be towed by the user in accordance with the
section “Towing” in the Manual. To tow the car, the suitable towing
equipment shall be used to prevent the vehicle from damage. The
wrong towing method may damage the car. In order to avoid vehicle
damage, the following notices shall be followed. When necessary, the
trailer driver shall read this page.
● The vehicle cannot start.
● The engine operates normally, but the vehicle cannot move.
● The steering system fails.
● The vehicle has abnormal noise.
● The vehicle is damaged seriously.
Caution !
Any towing work shall abide by the national/ provisional and local
regulations. The wheels and shafts in contact with ground must
maintain a good condition. In case of damage, the traction trolley
shall be used.
Towing method
Use of wheel lifting trailer
When the wheel lifting trailer is used to tow the front part of the car, it
is suggested to use the traction trolley under the rear wheels. If the
traction trolley is not used, the parking brake shall be released.
