* Lane departure warning (LDW) * Blind spot assist (BSA)
Some vehicle conditions and ambient environment may affect the
performance of LDW, especially:
● The lane line is worn or discolored;
● Yellow lane line under the strong sunshine or on the light-color
road surface
● At night, the light of coming vehicle illuminates the camera;
● The road surface is reflective;
● The lane line is blocked because the distance to the front vehicle
is too small;
● The vehicle is at the expressway entrance, irregular lane line or
construction guide line;
● The lane line is covered (by rain, snow or fog) in the bad weather;
● The lane line is covered by water, snow or dirt;
● The camera is collided strongly.
● There is water mist or rainwater on the camera lens.
Warning!
LDW may be affected by the weather conditions and ambient
environment. In any case, it is just an assist, and cannot be used as
the driver’s judgment. The driver must avoid hazards and drive the
vehicle in a civilized way.
The BSA switch is located in the left instrument panel switch
combination, as shown on the above diagram, and is used to turn on
or off the BSA. When BSA is on, the indicator lamp on the switch
will go on.
