Index

* Traction control system (TCS)

TCS,  short  for  traction  control  system,  is  the  subsystem  of  ESC.
According  to  RPM  of  drive  wheels and  driven wheels, it  determines
whether  drive  wheels  is  skidding  and  thereby  inhibits  RPM  of  drive
wheels when they are faster than driven wheels.

TCS  is  very  helpful  for  the  vehicle  stability.  When  running  on  the
slippery road, the drive wheels of the vehicle without TCS are easy to
slip during acceleration. In case of rear wheels, the vehicle is easy to
drift;  in  case  of  front  wheels,  the  vehicle  is  easy  to  lose  control,
resulting in the vehicle deflecting to one side. The installation of TCS
can  avoid  or  relieve  such  symptom  and  keep  the  vehicle  running  in
the correct direction when the vehicle is accelerating.

Caution !

TCS shares a button with ESC. When TCS is operating, the ESC

indicator lamp

on the combination instrument will flicker.
