RS-4103 Standard I/O Harness
Typical Routing – Wiring for the brake and parking brake digital inputs may route with the Power/Driver ID, and
the Speed /RPM OBDII/CAN Harness wiring. The input for seatbelt will usually route behind the driver’s seat to
wiring in the door trim panel area, or to the seatbelt buckle area if the RS-3910 seat belt sensor is used as required
by certain vehicles.
See Page 42 and Form 3 Build Sheet for wiring assignments.
NOTE:
You may have received a newer version of these harnesses where all the input wiring is located on one
harness. In this case the expansion harness will not be used and does not need to be connected. The harness
can be given to the customer to store for future use if required.
NOTE:
Locations for accessories connecting to the digital channels vary by device. Refer to your Build Sheet
(Form 3) or applicable OEM schematic diagram or instructions. The digital inputs monitor the presence or
absence of voltage and should be connected at a point in the circuit that goes from low to high voltage when
turned on and off. This “Polarity” should be noted for use in configuring ZOLL Online.
