Gripper, electric, GEP5000/GED5000 series

6. Function

The gripper fingers of the parallel gripper are arranged parallel to each other on two opposing guide rails and can be

moved relative to each other. The power of the motor is converted into a linear movement by means of a wedge hook

transmission and is thereby transferred to the gripper jaws.

Despite its small installation space, the gripper is suited for the gripping of a wide range of form fit and frictional fit

parts.
