Error codes are also displayed here.
Ö
Refer to the “Error diagnosis” section
Menu 1
Force setting
Setting for the gripping force and travel speed in 5 stages.
• 1 = low gripping force/low travel speed
• 2 = high gripping force/fast travel speed
Default value: 4
Menu 2
Width setting
Setting the width in 5 stages.
• 1 = Small width
• 5 = Large width
Default value: 3
Menu 3
Possible applications
• 1 = Universal operation
Ö
Inward or outward gripping
Ö
Both directions at exactly the same speed
• 2 = Inside gripping
Ö
Inward gripping with the desired gripping force
Ö
Move outward at fast speed (reduced cycle time)
• 3 = Outside gripping
Ö
Outward gripping with the desired gripping force
Ö
Move inward at fast speed (reduced cycle time)
Default value: 1
If the gripping direction is defined, the corresponding gripping force of 2 or 3 ought to be
used.
Ö
The shorter return time for the gripper jaws speeds up the entire gripping cycle.
Ö
As a result, it is possible to operate the gripper in a manner that is easy on both the
electronics and the mechanical components
The gripper cannot move to a fixed limit stop (e.g. a workpiece) during a fast backward
movement because it would be stressed beyond the permissible forces!
Menu 4
"TeachPosition"
Offset for the taught in position in 5 stages.
•
1 = Large offset in the direction of the “BasePosition”
•
2 = Small offset in the direction of the “BasePosition”
•
3 = No offset
•
4 = Small offset in the direction of the “WorkPosition”
•
5 = Large offset in the direction of the “WorkPosition”
Default value: 3
