Remedial measures
Temperature management active
The device has an active temperature
management to protect it from damage
due to too high inside temperatures. In
case of a temperature rise above the
fi
xed
limits, the modulation is reduced linearly.
To prevent the complete system being
switched o
ff
externally (in this operation
permissible for the controller) in case of
reduced operation due to too high an inter-
nal temperature, no fault message is sent
via the relay.
Limits: Capacitor temperature 75
°
C, heat
sink temperature 90
°
C.
The active temperature management is
signalled by an illuminated triangle in the
display (
multifunction LC display).
At sinking temperature the controller re-
starts.
Check the temperature in the device via
diagnostic menu.
Check cooling of the controller.

Switch OFF at 150
°

cooled down to 70
°
C.
Check temperature in controller, Check
cooling of the controller.
IGBT Fault
The controller was switched o
ff
by the cur-
rent limitation.
Controller turns the motor o
ff
. There is a
renewed attempt to start after about one
minute.
Check motor and brake function.
Earth fault
Shortcut earth, that means Shortcut be-
tween one motor wire and PE
The unit cuts out and does not switch on
again.
Disconnect the device from mains.
Check motor wires.
A permanent shortcut earth can dam-
age the device!
DC-Voltage
DC overvoltage because of shortcut earth
at switch-on.
The unit cuts out.
Disconnect the device from mains.
Check motor wires.
