Operation
6.1.
Double Check
Please double check the following items before operation.
1.
HYD-ES inverter is firmly fastened to the mounting bracket on the wall;
2.
PV+/PV- wires are firmly connected, polarity and voltage are correct;
3.
BAT+/BAT- wires are firmly connected, polarity and voltage are correct;
4.
GRID / LOAD cables are firmly / correctly connected;
5.
AC circuit breaker is correctly connected between HYD-ES inverter GRID port & GRID, and the circuit breaker is
OFF;
6.
AC circuit breaker is correctly connected between HYD-ES inverter LOAD port & critical load, and the circuit
breaker is OFF;
7.
For lithium battery, please ensure that the communication cable has been correctly connected;
6.2.
Power On procedure (IMPORTANT!)
IMPORTANT: PLEASE FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE to switch ON HYD-ES inverter
1.
Turn
OFF the AC circuit breaker between the HYD-ES inverter GRID Output & GRID.
2.
Turn
OFF the AC circuit breaker between the HYD-ES inverter Load Output & the critical load (if EPS load is
enabled)
3.
Turn OFF DC switch so there is not PV power production.
4.
Turn ON the battery: if batteries are Pylontech Turn ON the ON/OFF switch and verify that the green led under
the switch light up, then press the red SW switch (only on one battery if more than one battery are used in
parallel). Verify that all the charge indicator green led in each battery will light up and turn off after few second
and the Run led will stay green (either solid or flashing) . If Batteries are Tawaki Maui turn ON the Power switch
and verify that the L8 led (for Mod. Rack 17002) or L1 led (for Mod. MAUI 17012) light up. If the L1 (or L8) led
stay off turn off and then ON the power switch. If batteries are Weco ReSU 4K4, turn on the Power switch and
verify that the led RUN light up.
5.
Turn ON the AC circuit breaker between the HYD-ES inverter GRID Output & GRID.
6.
Turn
ON the AC circuit breaker between the HYD-ES inverter Load Output & the critical load (if EPS load is
enabled)
7.
Make sure that there are at least 200W load power consumption. This will allow the inverter to identify
correctly the Tca direction. If this step is not done correctly the system could read a wrong current value and
not work properly.
8.
Turn ON DC switch .
9.
The HYD-ES inverter should start working
