The Instrument performs a system check during start-up to ensure the reagent tanks are properly
connected as well as a volume check. In case of connection error or low volume, there will be an
audio alarm and an error message will appear on the main window.
2.3.2
Cleaning solution
The cap of the Cleaning solution tank is color coded YELLOW and holds up to 4 liters in capacity.
The Cleaning solution is delivered as concentrate (80x) and it should be diluted by DI water before use.
Loading procedure as follows:
Place the Cleaning solution tank in its corresponding slot.
Connect the yellow labeled tube to the Cleaning solution tank.
The Instrument performs a system check during SELF CHECK to ensure the cleaning solution is properly
connected as well as a volume check. In case of connection error or low volume, there will be an error
messages will appear on the main window.
2.3.3
Sanitizing Solution
Sanitizing solution shares the same position with cleaning solution. During the sanitizing process, users
should replace the cleaning solution with sanitizing solution. The sanitation concentrate (20x) should be
diluted by DI water before use, and it is given an ORANGE coded cap to prevent mixing up with the cleaning
solution.
When the system is in sanitizing cycle, the software checks whether all tanks are properly connected as well
as a volume check. In case of connection error or low volume, there will be an error message on the screen.
Loading procedure as follows:
Replace Cleaning solution (YELLOW) Bottle with Sanitation Bottle (ORANGE).
Connect the YELLOW labeled tube into the sanitation solution tank.
Following the software information to finish all steps.
Important
Remove the solution tanks from the Instrument before refilling the tanks to avoid water damage to the
instrument.
2.4.
Waste Disposal
To ensure the analyzer is running normally, the waste volume must be checked regularly and the waste tank
must be voided when needed. When waste is discharged from the waste tank, it should be handled with care
and should be treated as biological hazardous material.
