Quick Guide for UNION
6.4.1
Switch on
1)
Check and ensure all the solutions (Washing Buffers and cleaning solution) has sufficient volume. Check
the waste tank and ensure the tubing is well connected.
2)
Check and ensure the USB cable and the power cord are well connected. Switch on the Instrument by
means of the power switch on its back. Switch on the computer.
3)
Enter the main operation screen, click at the left side of the screen and enter the operating
platform. Enter the Stand-by mode after Self-Check.
6.4.2
Preparations for Sample Analysis
1)
Click
on the operation window, select or review the calibration records and the
calibration curve.
2)
Click
on the operational window to select or review the Quality Control records
according to your needs.
3)
Self-Check
Follow the instructions on screen, insert a SERVICE cartridge in position# 1 on the holding carousel, and make
sure position #2 is emptied. Click , the Self-Check process will be completed automatically.
6.4.3
Operation and Analysis
1)
Run the tests
Add sample (>65μl), calibrator (135μl) and quality control (135μl) respectively into the sample well of
the cartridge. Load the cartridge into carousel according to IFU. Make sure there is no liquid hanging in the
sealed reagent wells.
Click and select the cartridge to be tested.
Use the external barcode reader to scan the corresponding calibrator / quality control / sample barcodes.
You can also type in the sample code manually.
Click . The results will be shown automatically on the results column after detection.
