The built-in fuel heater

(24 V, 350 W) allows to prevent this
kind of problem and serves to warm up diesel fuel.
The heater operating temperature: until minimum filtration
temperature is reached. At +5
o
C the heater is activated automatically.
The heater is equipped with a resistor having a positive
temperature coefficient of resistance and an in-built self-clinching
thermal relay. The heater is switched on/off automatically.
ATTENTION!
USING DIESEL FUEL MIXED WITH PETROL
AND/OR OTHER FUELS IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN!
MAZ vehicles can be equipped with «Racor» full-flow sump-
type coarse fuel filters featuring a built-in manual priming pump and a
water-in-fuel sensor. In this case the filter maintenance must be
conducted according to the Operation Manual for MAZ vehicles.
