Engine mount

TIP:

Do not install the rubber coupling until the cou-
pling clearance adjustment has been made.

6.

Temporarily install the engine mounting
bolts “1”.

7.

Lift the engine unit slightly, install the
shims “2”, and then lower the unit.

TIP:

Install the shims “2” in their original positions.

8.

Measure the coupling clearances “a” and
“b”. If the clearances are out of specifica-
tion, add or remove shims so that the
clearances are within specification.

9.

Lift the engine unit slightly, remove the
shims, and then lower the engine unit.

10. Remove the engine mounting bolts.

11. Separate the engine unit from the engine

mounts and move it forward to disconnect
the coupling.

12. Install the rubber coupling “1”.

13. Install the shims, and then adjust the posi-

tion of the engine unit so that the coupling
clearances “a” and “b” are within specifica-
tion.
