Backup Utility: Backing up and restoring data on the server

backed up NP1040 NAS server a few days ago, he/she can
select the Advanced option for “incremental backup”. This
allows backing up only the changed data of the past few days
and could save time and the storage space. Below are 2
examples for the incremental backup:
Example 1:
System administrator has backed up all the data from the
server to a “Data 0101.bkp” file, at 12:00 noon on January 1.
To make another backup at 11:00 (before 12:00 noon) on
January 5, system administrator could only backup the
changes of the past 4 days to another file called
“Dabe0101_0105.bkp”.
Example 2:
System administrator has backed up all the data from the
server to a “Data 0101.bkp” file, at 12:00 noon on January 1.
To make another backup at 17:00 (after 12:00 noon) on
January 5, system administrator could only back up the
changes of the past 5 days to another file called
“Data0101_0105.bkp”, in order to complete the backup of all
changes.

Click Apply. The system starts to back up. After the backup is
complete, click on Report to review the back up report.
