Troubleshooting

Cannot use Internet Explorer to connect to NFP Storage

Manager

Check if the network settings of

NP1040

NAS server are correct,

and make sure that the IP of

NP1040

server does not conflict

with those of other servers in the LAN.

Make sure the Windows client has correctly installed/set up

TCP/IP.

Make sure

NP1040

NAS server and the client computer that

runs

Microsoft IE

can be connected through physical network

medium (e.g. hub, switch, etc.) and in the same subnet.

Make sure that the browser is IE 5.5 or above and it can

connect to other servers in the network.

Try typing the server name of

NP1040

NAS server in the

address field of IE.

Try typing the IP address of

NP1040

NAS server in the address

field of IE.

Try restoring the IE settings to defaults and try again.

Try restarting the server.

Buttons missing on

Date/Time

page in

Quick

Configuration

Certain web trap modules of anti-virus software might cause buttons

on the
