Consequences of not wearing a seat belt
Even at a low speed, the force on the human
body in a collision is so great that the
occupant has no control over his or her body.
An occupant who is not wearing a seat belt
will be thrown forward, potentially causing
serious injury to any object in the vehicle.
Wear a three-point seat belt
- Adjust the seat properly: page 56
- Slowly pull the safety belt out of the
retractor, around the chest and crotch, insert
the safety belt lock into the latch, hear “click”
sound, indicating that the lock and latch are
locked.
- Pull the seat belt to make sure it is locked.
ATTENTION
• Wear your seat belt properly before
driving to reduce the risk of an
accident.
• Ensure that the seat belt is properly
worn in accordance with the relevant
instructions in this manual.
WARNING
• After inserting the latch, make sure that
the lock and latch of the safety belt
are locked and the safety belt is not
twisted.
• Coins, paper clips and other objects are
forbidden to be inserted into the latch,
so as not to affect the correct matching
of the lock and the latch.
• If the safety belt does not work
properly, please contact the XEV new
energy vehicle authorized service
station for maintenance immediately.
