To use the Basic Settings FAB:
1. Select the Basic Settings FAB.
2. Select a Sides Imaged option from the pull-down menu. Move
your cursor over the paper mimic icons to see a description of
each available Sides Imaged option. Make your selection by
clicking the appropriate icon. Your selection will display in the
Sides Imaged field.
3. Select [Collated] or [Uncollated] radio button from the Collation
field.
• Collated: Documents are printed in sequential page order
and delivered as separate document sets. For example, if
you print three sets of a 3-page document, the output will
be grouped in the following page order: 1,2,3 1,2,3 1,2,3.
• Uncollated: Documents are printed in separate sets of
each page. If you print 3 copies of a 2-page uncollated
document, the output will be grouped with three copies of
page 1 followed by three copies of page 2.
Slip Sheets/Offset FAB
To use the Slip Sheets/Offset FAB:
1. Mark the Enable radio button. The Paper Stock selection fields
become active.
2. Click the [Paper Stock…] button. The Slip Sheets: Paper Stock
dialog opens.
3. Select from the following stock options:
• Select a named stock from the Name pull-down menu.
Alternatively, you may select a stock from the Stock List.
This enables you to verify the characteristics of the stock.
a. To open the Stock List, select the [Stock List...] button.
b. Select a Stock from the Stock List.
c. Select OK to save changes and exit the stock list. The
named stock will appear in the Name text field.
• You can also select a stock by selecting paper
characteristics using the Coating FAB. Be sure the
attributes you select are supported on the printing system.
4. Select offset stacking options:
• None: This is the default selection. Offset stacking will not
be used for the printed job.
• Between Jobs: The offset will occur between each job
printed.
• Between Sets: The offset will occur between each set
printed.
• Within Sets: When this is selected the Page Boundary
spin box becomes active. Using this option you can set the
