Replace tubing system. When doing this, observe the following
points:
– Replace the components of the tubing system step by step,
starting at the overflow vessel or at the consumable
canisters.
– Make sure that all the tubings assembled have the same
dimensions (length and diameter) as the original tubings.
– Observe the correct number of windings and proper tube
guiding at the tube coil at the inlet of the thermoblock. For
details refer to the end of this section on page 3-38.
– To change the connection pieces (T-pieces and L-pieces),
pull off the cap at the corresponding holding device. Then
pull out and exchange the connection piece. Assemble the
connection piece again and secure it with the cap in reverse
order.
– When replacing the pump tubings, make sure they have the
same color coding (tubing diameter).
– When removing the tubings from the consumable canisters,
pull the color coding off the old tubing and place it on the
new tubing.
– When connecting the consumables make sure that the color
coding at the tubing and the container screw cap is the
same.
– Dispose of exchanged tubings so that they cannot be used
again.
