Tracking The Blade

Make sure the blade housing cover is closed and all persons are clear of the blade.

Start the motor for a moment until the blade positions itself on the wheels.

WARNING!

Do not spin the blade wheels by hand. Spinning the blade

wheels by hand may result in serious injury.

Turn off the engine and check the position of the blade on the blade wheels.

See Figure 3-7.

Position 1 1/4” wide blades so the gullet is 1/8" (3.0 mm) out from the edge of the blade

wheel (±1/32 [.75 mm]).

See Figure 3-8.

To adjust where the blade travels on the blade wheels, use the cant control bolt.
