Combination possibilities of the IF
modules for double-pump operation
Double pumps or two corresponding single pumps can
be retrofitted with a built-in double pump manage-
ment facility.

Stratos IF modules:
Two IF modules linked together
via the DP interface are required to allow the pumps
to communicate with each other. In addition to dou-
ble-pump management, the IF modules provide ot-
her interfaces for the double pump, see also chapter
9.1.1.

Conditions: A double pump or two corresponding
single pumps are available.
When put into service, a master and slave
are defined, see also chapter4.3.
A single pump that does not exist as
a double pump type cannot be confi-
gured as a double pump.
