6.5. Aligning

Drive the pipes apart by pushing <Joystick> to: Open.

Select <Mode select> level: 4.

Drive the heating element laterally between both pipe ends by pushing <Heater pos.> to:


Drive the heating element into heating position by pushing <Heater in> to:

Drive the pipes together, <Joystick> e.g. to: p2 and adjust the CURRENT pressure onto
nominal pressure using the pressure regulator p2 .

Release the lateral locking of the heating element by pushing <Release heater> to:

workpieces are constantly pressed onto the heating element.
You may store the current pressure by pressing <Enter>. The pressure is
readjusted as long as you activate another function (button / lever / joystick) so
the pressure is deactivated again.
6.6. Heating

Select <Mode select> level: 5.

When the prescribed revolving bead has formed, push the lever <release pressure> to:

thus starting the heating time.

Select <Mode select> level: 4 .

In order that a short response time is possible, drive the heating element tear-offs towards
the heating element at a short distance during heating pushing levers <Heater off R> and
<Heater off L> to:

After the heating press <Start>; thus starting the change-over.
6.7. Change-over

Drive the pipes apart by pushing <Joystick> to: Open .

In case a pipe e.g. the left one has detached from the heating element, activate the tear-off
device for the other (right) side by pushing <Heater off R> on:

, in order that the other pipe
may detach from the heating element.

Drive the heating element to the rear into initial position by pushing <Heater in> to:

thus
driving the tear-off device back as well.
