2.10.4. Danger of squeezing at clamping tools and guide rails
Considerable injuries by squeezing may result from:
- Shutting and opening the clamping tools.
- Driving-in cutter and heating element.
- Driving the machine back and forth, on the one hand between the inner clamping
rings, on the other hand between the outer clamping rings and the ejectors.
- Mounting the reducer inserts.
- Clamping the pipes.

Do not reach or tread between the inner clamping rings if the pipes have still not been
clamped.

Make use of a lifting device during the installation of the reducer inserts and do not reach
between reducer insert and clamping tool.

Do not hinder the opening and shutting slides.
2.10.5. Danger of cutting and catching clothes by the cutter
You can cut yourself or even get broken bones, the knives are very sharp!

Only wear clothes tight to the body.

Do not wear rings or jewellery during the work.

If necessary wear a hair-net.

Do not touch the knives.

Wear gloves while you replace the knives.

If you are working within the machine, protect the area of the knives at the
cutter (e.g. by plastic film/cardboard/cloths) in order that you cannot cut
yourself at the knives.

Make sure that nobody steps into the pipes while the cutter is working.

Never remove cutting chips while the cutter is working.

Make sure that nobody can activate the remote control while you are
driving the cutter back and forth by the cordless impact wrench!
2.10.6. Tilting danger of the machine
The machine may tilt / fall over unless it has been aligned and fixed by the
leveling legs!

Always drive the leveling legs out thus far until the machine is aligned and
fixed with or without carriage.

Never open the clamping tools unless the machine has been fixed by the
leveling legs.
