Adjust the diameter for the cap / flange by the limit stops.

Shift the clamping claws outwards thus far that the cap / flange may be inserted.

Insert the cap / flange into the machine and support the piece on the limit stops.

Press the piece against the stub end holder and clamp it by the claws.
4.10.1. How to put the stub end holder onto the transport rack

Hinge the stub end holder e.g. at a crane, open the clamping tool and lift the stub end
holder out of the machine.

In order to put it into the transport rack, bring the stub end holder towards the rack and
necessarily put the flange behind the beam (arrow) in order to avoid slipping.

Then carefully lower the stub end holder onto the rack until the flange is located between
the wooden limit stops.

Fix the stub end holder to the rack by clamping belts.
