ActiveScale™ P100 Support Guide

The scale out wizard starts. ActiveScale OS disables the DHCP server on the System Nodes and scans
for the new system’s link local IP addresses.
A pop-up appears with results of system scan:

– If the wizard indicates that no scale out system are available, click

Close

. Check the power-on

state and cabling of each component in the new system and start the wizard again.

– If the wizard indicates that there is a version mismatch, click

Close

. Update the ActiveScale OS

on the existing system(s) and start the wizard again. For upgrade help, contact Western Digital
Support.

– If the wizard finds no problems, click

Continue

. The wizard displays the network settings.
