5.3.1 Scaling up multi-site systems

In a multi-site system, each scale up kit adds one new column to the primary ActiveScale P100 system in
each of the three sites.
All nodes in the new scale up kit have link local IP addresses and ActiveScale OS pre-installed on them.

Important:

To obtain the transceivers required for multi-site installation, you

must purchase a 3GEO kit for each ActiveScale P100. Multi-site scale up kits are
different from single site scale up kits. Do not try converting them to single site
scale up kits.

Understand the following guidelines before attempting a multi-site system scale up:
