Description
Calculation base and additional
information
Material availability
(by Location)
Shows how much time
the actual stock level
was at Safety, Re-order,
Nominal and Excess
levels
Location, Part Number and Description
columns:
A Location can be listed multiple times if:
The material assignment was altered
during the analysis period
The Location name was assigned to
another Location during the analysis
period.
Safety Stock, Reorder Stock, Nominal
Stock and Excess Stock columns:
The percentage value specifies how long
the Location with this material was in the
respective status during the analysis
period.
Percentage value = Duration in status/
Analysis period duration
If a stock limit has not been defined for a
Location/material during the entire
analysis period, the value is blank.
The sum of the values is <100% if the
Location/material was defined after the
beginning of the analysis period or was
deleted before the end of the analysis
period.
Total average columns:
The calculated total average ignores
empty values (= undefined stock limit).
The sum of the total averages can,
therefore, be less than 100%
Material availability
(by Flow-rack)
Totals the values from
the report Material
availability (by
Location) and outputs
the average per rack.
The average per rack is calculated from:
Average = Total of values per
Location/Number of Locations
If a stock limit has not been defined for a
Location, 0% will be used as a value.
The total average is not weighted by the
number of Locations per rack.
Total average = Total per status/Rack
quantity
Only Locations that are currently still
assigned to a rack are evaluated.
Deleted Locations are not evaluated.
Therefore, the values may deviate from
the report Material availability (by
Location).
Deviations caused by different rounding
may also occur.
