To use an existing Microsoft SQL server with a pre-installed StockSAVER database, e.g.
when installing a new instance of the Server Services, select Microsoft SQL Server
database with WERMA StockSAVER data.

5.7.6

Installing a client on other PCs

1.

Select Install client.
The StockSAVER installation program will search for the StockSAVER Server Service in the
local network. If multiple StockSAVER Server Services are found, a selection dialog will be
displayed.

2.

If the correct Server Service does not appear, select and install the server name or IP
address and the corresponding TCP/IP port manually.

3.

Once the installation is complete, you can change the language in the settings. See 6.6.1.

Note: It is also possible to install the client automatically, without supervision. See 7.3.
