Attaching the hardware to racks

StockSAVER manual - Software version 2.1

A dialog opens for language selection. The available languages are displayed.
-

All of the languages required in the client installations within the company must be
installed on the server.

-

The selected languages will be made available automatically after an update of the
client installations has been carried out.

-

The installation program downloads further languages from the Werma web server.
These will be displayed as soon as they are available. It may be necessary to
configure a proxy server in order to access the WERMA server.

Click Install.

8.

Once installation is complete, click Start WERMA StockSAVER now.

Advanced Server Installation

1.

Select Show advanced installation options and click Next.

2.

Select the installation path and then the port. TCP/IP port 9711 is entered as default.

3.

To install and create the Server Service and the database locally, select Create new
database.

4.

To use an existing, empty database on an in-house SQL Server, select Existing, empty
Microsoft SQL server database. The database must have the following specification:

−

"SQL server authentication mode" must be activated

−

Database character set (collation): Latin1_General_CI_AS

−

Database user rights: db_datareader, db_datawriter, db_ddladmin, db_owner

−

Standard schema for the database user: dbo

−

If the options ALLOW_SNAPSHOT_ISOLATION and READ_COMMITTED_SNAPSHOT are
not set, they will be activated for the database during installation.
