Malfunctions and solutions
Problem Cause Action
NO POWER The machine is off. Turn machine on.
NO WATER IN THE HEATING UNIT The water supply tap is shut off. Open the water supply tap.
TOO MUCH WATER IN
THE HEATING UNIT
Fault in electrical or hydraulic system. Turn off the machine and contact Technical Support.
STEAM NOZZLES DO NOT
RELEASE STEAM
• The nozzle sprayer is clogged.
• The machine is off.
• Clean the steam nozzle sprayer.
• Turn machine on.
STEAM NOZZLES RELEASE WATER
OR STEAM MIXED WITH WATER
Fault in electrical or hydraulic system. Turn off the machine and contact Technical Support.
NO BEVERAGES ARE DISPENSED
• The water supply tap is shut off.
• The coffee has been ground too finely.
• Open the water supply tap.
• Adjust the coffee grind.
WATER LEAKS FROM THE MACHINE
• The tray is not draining.
• The drain pipe is broken, has detached, or the water
flow is obstructed.
• Check the sewer drain.
• Check and restore the drain pipe connection to
the tray.
COFFEE IS TOO HOT OR TOO COLD Fault in electrical or hydraulic system. Turn off the machine and contact Technical Support.
COFFEE IS BEING DISPENSED
TOO QUICKLY
The coffee has been ground too coarsely. Adjust the coffee grind.
COFFEE IS BEING DISPENSED
TOO SLOWLY
The coffee has been ground too finely. Adjust the coffee grind.
COFFEE GROUNDS ARE WET
• The dispensing group is dirty.
• The dispensing group is too cold.
• The coffee has been ground too finely.
• The coffee is too old.
• Wash the group with the blind filter.
• Wait for the group to fully heat up.
• Adjust the coffee grind.
• Replace with fresh coffee.
THE DISPLAY INDICATES NON-
COMPLIANT PRESSURE
Hydraulic system fault. Turn off the machine and contact Technical Support.
COFFEE GROUNDS FOUND IN CUPS
• The filter holder is dirty.
• The filter holes are worn.
• The coffee has not been ground evenly.
• Clean the filter holder.
• Replace the filter.
• Adjust the grinder as appropriate.
THE CUP IS DIRTY WITH
COFFEE SPLASHES
• The coffee has been ground too coarsely.
• The filter's edge is damaged.
• Adjust the coffee grind.
• Replace the filter.
• COFFEE IS BEING
DISPENSED UNEVENLY
• THE COFFEE DOSE IS
NOT AS REQUESTED
The coffee has been ground too finely. Adjust the coffee grind.
BLOCK IN ELECTRONIC SYSTEM Fault in electrical or hydraulic system. Turn off the machine and contact Technical Support.
WATER IS LEAKING FROM THE PUMP Pump fault. Turn off the machine and contact Technical Support.
THE MOTOR STOPS SUDDENLY
OR THE THERMAL PROTECTOR SI
TRIGGERED BY A POWER OVERLOAD
Pump fault. Turn off the machine and contact Technical Support.
THE PUMP IS WORKING BELOW
THE NOMINAL FLOW RATE
Pump fault. Turn off the machine and contact Technical Support.
THE PUMP IS NOISY Pump fault. Turn off the machine and contact Technical Support.
Turn the machine off and contact a Qualified Technician if the alerts on the diplay are in grey.
