Battery life
This power-assisted bicycle is fitted with a high quality Li-ion battery.
Li-ion batteries do not have a charge memory and have a wide
temperature tolerance ranging from -10 to 40°C.
To ensure maximum battery life and protect it from damage, please
follow the use and care instructions below.
Once your battery is charged, it is recommended that you leave it for
20 to 30 minutes before use.
Your battery life depends on several usage factors:
•
the assistance mode selected
•
the weight of the rider
•
the elevation of the road
•
the tyre inflation
•
the wind
•
the pedalling effort provided
•
setting off and the frequency of stops
•
the outside temperature.
IV.
Inserting/removing the battery
The battery on electric bikes is placed in a case under the seat.
WARNING:
before handling the battery, make sure the
switch is in the off position.
Battery installation:
to install the battery, first slide the battery pack
horizontally along the rail and push it to check that it is firmly in position,
then lock it.
Locking the battery:
to lock the battery inside its case and prevent it
from being stolen or lost, insert the key into the lock on the side, and
turn it clockwise. Unlock it again with a half-turn anti-clockwise.
