STEP 16 – Close the Combustion Door
•
Ensure the combustion door handle is in the fully up position as shown in Figure 50.
Press and hold the green coloured door release button if necessary (see Figure 36) in
order to raise the handle.
•
Close the combustion door and push the handle FIRMLY down as shown in Figure 51,
until the combustion door interlock is heard clicking into the locked position.
•
It will be difficult to close the combustion door if the ash pan is not correctly placed in the
ash pan area of the heat exchanger. Should you find the combustion door difficult to
close, return to STEP 10 of this procedure.
•
Check the screen shown in Figure 52 is displayed asking for confirmation that the ash
pan and pot are in place. If this screen is not displayed, ensure again the combustion
door handle has been pushed down fully until the combustion door interlock is heard
clicking into the locked position.
