Mapping of process data in the process image of fieldbus systems
The representation of the process data of some I/O modules or their variants in the
process image depends on the fieldbus coupler/controller used. Please take this
information from the section “I/O Modules” included in the description
concerning the process image of the corresponding coupler/controller.

The 750-636/000-x00 I/O module (DC Drive Controller 24V/5A) provides the
fieldbus coupler/controller with a 6-byte input and output process image via one
logical channel. The position data to be sent and received are stored in 4 output
bytes (D0 ... D3) and 4 input bytes (D0 ... D3). 2 control bytes (C0, C1) and 2
status bytes (S0, S1) serve to control the I/O module and drive.
In addition to the position data in the input process image (D0 ... D3), it is
possible to display extended status information (S2 ... S5).

Bit 3 (ExtendedInfo_ON) of control byte C1 (C1.3) is used to switch between the
process data and the extended status bytes in the input process image. Bit 3 of
status byte S1 (S1.3) is used to acknowledge the switching process.
