750-636/000-x00 DC Drive Controller 24V/5A
Manual
Version 2.1.0
4.3
Brake Functions
The brake mode is set here. A brake mode can be assigned for the following
events:
•
Brake-Mode_STANDARD (Move/Positioning)
•
Brake-Mode_EXCEPTION (on actuation of the limit switch)
•
Brake-Mode_EMERGENCY (see chapter "Protective Functions")
The following brake modes can be assigned to these events:
•
Idle (motor outputs at zero voltage)
•
Ramp (see chapter "I/O Module-Specific Parameter Data, Parameter 0")
•
Brake (the motor outputs are short-circuited and are at 24 V (750-636) or at
motor voltage potential U
A
(750-636/000-800))
4.4
Stop Functions
The idle/deceleration (Stop Mode) is set after braking. It can be distinguished
whether the stop mode should be applied at the end of the electric ramp or when
the drive stops only (tab 49.8). A stop mode can be assigned for the following
events:
•
Stop-Mode_STANDARD (Move/Positioning)
•
Stop-Mode_EXCEPTION (on actuation of the limit switch)
•
Stop-Mode_EMERGENCY (see chapter "Protective Functions")
•
Stop-Mode_Pwr_Up (after switching on the node)
The following stop states can be assigned to these events:
•
Idle (motor outputs at zero voltage)
•
Brake (the motor outputs are short-circuited and are at 24 V (750-636) or at
motor voltage potential U
A
(750-636/000-700 and 750-636/000-800))
4.5
Protective Functions
The I/O module monitors the following events:
•
Travel against the limit switches
•
I/O module overtemperature
•
Overtemperature of the motor final stage in the module
•
Overload (current/voltage) in the motor final stage (e.g. triggered by energy
recover if the brake ramp is too steep, correct by supporting the power
supply or extending the brake ramp)
•
Short-circuit in the motor final stage
•
Failure of the field-side 24 V (with versions 750-636/000-700 and 750-
636/000-800 differentiated by motor and logic supply)
In this case, the drive is automatically switched off and cannot be
restarted until the cause of the error has been resolved.
