Sewing a test seam using straight stitch as an example

Sewing a test seam

Press the Thread Cutter button. When the needle stop position

➔

is down: the threads are cut and the needle goes up. In this case the stop
position setting does not change even if the needle goes up.

Please note:

Never pull the fabric when the thread cutter is working. This leads

to damage that is not covered by warranty (see Section 5.4).

Raise the presser foot lifter and remove the fabric.

Upper thread sensor

If the upper thread is torn or missing, the machine stops automatically and a
message appears.
Thread the upper thread again and continue sewing.
