Inserting a needle

PLEASE NOTE Accident prevention.

Switch off the power switch before carrying out the following procedure.

If you place a cloth on the metal needle plate, you prevent the needle from falling
into the machine.

Turn the hand wheel towards you until it is in its highest position. The (a)
mark on the hand wheel goes up.

Lower the presser foot lifter.

Loosen the needle clamp screw.

Remove the needle.
