Sewing decorative stitches and letters
Using a pattern
A. Single mode
(preset when storing letters or at least 2 decorative patterns.)
The ( ) symbol is shown on the LCD display. The machine stops automatically
once the selected patterns have been sewn once.
B. Single mode with tie-off, single with tie-off / cut
The ( ) and ( ) or ( ) symbol appears on the LCD display by pressing the Tie-
off / Cut ( ) button. The machine stops automatically once the selected
patterns have been sewn once and tied off. Depending on the tie-off / cut function
setting, the thread is automatically cut.
NOTE:
•
As the letter stitch has its own tie-off stitch, you do not need to add a tie-
off stitch at the end of the sequence.
•
When the repeat sewing mode is selected, pressing the Tie-off / Cut
button automatically switches the sewing mode to single sewing mode.
C. Repeat mode
(preset when storing just one decorative pattern)
The (
) symbol is shown on the LCD display. The machine sews the selected
pattern until you stop the machine. Set this mode when you want to sew one or
more decorative stitches repeatedly.
NOTE:
•
In single with tie-off or single with tie-off / cut mode, a tie-off stitch is sewn
at the beginning and end of the pattern.
•
If you change the sewing mode while sewing, it will not change until you
sew an entire stored pattern.
