FAULT CODES
The control board monitors various operations and can detect certain failure modes. In the event of specific
failures, cooking will be terminated, a four-beep signal will be heard, and a fault code will be displayed.
Pressing the CLEAR pad will remove the fault code display, unless the failure is a shorted keypanel switch.
Detection of a failed sensor will have no effect on features that do not use that sensor.
F6 (high cavity temperature during microwave cooking) code applies only to microwave cooking.
DISPLAY FAILURE DETECTED
F1 Oven cavity thermistor open.
F2 Oven cavity thermistor shorted.
F3 Keypanel shorted (> 60 seconds).
F6 High cavity temperature detected during microwave
oven cooking.
SYMPTOM POSSIBLE CAUSES
Oven does not operate. No clock display, oven cavity
lamp or keypad responses. 1. Power cord.
2. Main circuit breaker open.
3. 20 Amp fuse open.
4. Open cavity thermal cut out.
5. Open low voltage transformer winding.
6. Open magnetron thermal cut out.
7. Open thermal fuse.
8. Control board malfunction.
9. Associated wiring and wiring connections.
Oven displays error messages. Refer to Fault Codes.
Display does not light up/no characters displayed. 1. Ribbon cable.
2. Display malfunction.
3. Control board malfunction.
Cannot set cooking time or enter other keypad
information. 1. Ribbon cable.
2. Keypad malfunction.
3. Control board malfunction.
Door does not latch/close completely. 1. Check for obstructions. Close door again.
2. Misadjusted door latch assembly.
Won’t save recipe settings. Control board malfunction.
Beeper doesn’t work. 1. Ribbon cable.
2. Control board malfunction.
