SERVICE PROCEDURES AND ADJUSTMENTS
WARNING: DUE TO HIGH VOLTAGE, SPECIAL CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN WHEN MEASURING AROUND
THE MAGNETRON.
WARNING: CERTAIN PROCEDURES IN THIS SECTION REQUIRE ELECTRICAL TEST OR
MEASUREMENTS WHILE THE POWER IS APPLIED TO THE MACHINE. EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION AT
ALL TIMES. IF TEST POINTS ARE NOT EASILY ACCESSIBLE, DISCONNECT POWER, ATTACH TEST
EQUIPMENT AND REAPPLY POWER TO TEST.
WARNING: HIGH VOLTAGE IS PRESENT, WITH HIGH-CURRENT CAPABILITIES IN THE CIRCUITS OF
THE HIGH VOLTAGE WINDING AND FILAMENT WINDING OF THE HIGH VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER.
WARNING: DO NOT MEASURE THE VOLTAGE IN THE HIGH VOLTAGE CIRCUIT, INCLUDING THE
FILAMENT VOLTAGE OF THE MAGNETRON.
WARNING: NEVER TOUCH ANY CIRCUIT WIRING WITH YOUR HAND OR WITH ANY TOOL DURING
OPERATION.
CAUTION: Remove your wristwatch whenever working close to the magnetron.
CAUTION: High voltage capacitor stays charged for about 30 seconds after the oven is turned off.
CAUTION: Check the ground, do not operate the oven on an extension cord. This oven is designed to
be used when grounded.
CAUTION: Avoid inserting nails, wire, etc. through any holes in the oven during operation.
CAUTION: Personnel should not be exposed to the microwave energy.
