OPERATION
Refer to the INSTRUCTIONS manual shipped with
the oven for complete operating instructions,
precautions and utensils to use.
CAUTION: Do not attempt to cook with the oven
empty. If there is no load in the cavity to absorb
the microwave energy, the energy will be
reflected back into the magnetron causing it to
overheat which may result in magnetron failure.
NOTE: The halogen lamps will dim and cycle on
and off during a combi cook cycle, sometimes even
at full power levels. This is normal. The oven senses
the heat level and adjusts automatically. What is
important to note is that while the power levels have
been reduced (thermal compensation), the power
levels which will show in the display will be the
original power levels.
NOTE: The programming on the control board
which controls the upper halogen lamps (U=), the
lower halogen lamp (L=), as well as the high
voltage/magnetron circuits (M=), operates on a duty
cycle of 32 seconds. This means the power level
you select for each component controls the
percentage of "on" time during each 32 second
period of time.
Example: Upper halogen lamp pair set at 80%
(U=08), lower halogen lamp set at 50% (L=05), and
microwave set at 30% (M=03).
CLEANING
CAUTION: Never use oven cleaners to clean the
oven. Never use abrasives or sharp objects on
the oven walls or window.

TOOLS
• Set of standard hand tools
• Volt-ohm meter with a sensitivity of at least
20,000 ohms per volt.
• Field service grounding kit. (TL 84919)
• 1 liter beaker (made of material suitable for
high oven temperature)
• Thermometer (519928 or 538454)
• A microwave leak detector that has been
calibrated by the manufacture within the year.
